What format are your resources and are they editable?

All our resources are saved as downloadable PDFs. You can edit them by downloading PDF editing software.

 

Can I try your resources before I buy?

Certainly! Have a look at our free mini-schemes and sample lesson packs to see what our resources are like. We also have hundreds of free 'FreeBee' resources.  

 

Do I need to open an account to place an order?

Yes. All of your orders will be added to your account area. You can download them from here whenever you need them at no extra cost. If you don't have one, open a PlanBee account for free.

 

I have forgotten my password, how can I reset it?

You can reset your password here. A password reset link will be emailed to you. If the email hasn't arrived in a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you continue to have problems let us know using the contact form or in the live chat.

 

How do I checkout my order?

Click the orange 'checkout' button in your basket. You should be guided through the checkout process on screen. If you continue to have problems let us know using the contact form or in the live chat.

 

Will my order be posted to me?

No, we do not post resources to you. As soon as you have taken your purchase through the checkout process they appear in the 'My Orders' section of your account area where they can be downloaded.

 

Can I import the slideshow presentation into my Interactive Whiteboard software?

Yes you can! We recommend you view the slideshow in their original PDF format using the full screen mode:

1. Open the slide PDF file with Adobe Reader.

2. Select 'View > Full Screen Mode'.

3. Navigate the slides using the links provided, or use the arrow keys on your keyboard.

4. Enjoy your lesson!

 

However if you do not wish to do this, the slides can be exported to images and imported into SMART Notebook, Promethean ActivInspire or PowerPoint. Exporting the slides from PDF to images will stop hyperlinks within the presentation working.

 

I am using Internet Explorer, why can't I checkout?

Internet Explorer is no longer supported by Microsoft. It is not a secure web service so you will not be able to checkout using it. We recommend viewing our site using an alternative web browser e.g. Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, or Ecosia.

 

I am NOT using Internet Explorer, but something isn't working...

We sometimes need to make updates to our site. This may mean that planbee.com is not displaying correctly on your device. To view the most up-to-date version of the site, please do a ‘hard refresh’ of your browser window or tab:

On PCs (Windows): EITHER hold the Ctrl key and click the reload button near the top of the browser window/tab; OR press Ctrl + F5.

On Macs: EITHER hold the cmd key and click the reload button near the top of your browser window/tab; OR press cmd + shift + r.

Note that doing a ‘hard refresh’ may fix a number of browsing display issues for planbee.com or any other website. If this doesn’t fix things for you, you may need to clear your browser’s cache and history. The method for this varies, depending on your device, operating system and browser. Who are the resources for?

Our resources are made to support teachers, tutors and parents teaching the English Primary National Curriculum (Year 1 to Year 6). Each lesson pack contains a detailed lesson plan, informative teaching slides and child-friendly printable teaching resources, all saved as downloadable PDFs.

 

Who makes the resources?

Thank you for asking! Our small team of ex-teachers make all our resources. If you would like to know more, please visit our about us page.

 

Are the resources downloadable?

Yes! They can be downloaded from your account area as soon as you check them out.

Our lessons cover most of the English Primary National Curriculum subjects and a few extra areas.

 

Do you have any computing lessons?

Some of our cross-curricular topics and Design and Technology schemes of work include some computing, however we do not (yet!) have a dedicated Computing subject area

 

Do you have any PSHE lessons?

Yes, we have some PSHE lessons included in our cross-curricular topics. However, we do not currently have a dedicated PSHE subject area.

Some of our multi-faith and non-faith RE schemes of work cover aspects of PSHE learning and our Education for Social Responsibility (ESR) curriculum covers many aspects of PSHE.

 

What is ESR?

Education for Social Responsibility (ESR) is a primary citizenship and environmentalism curriculum for KS1 and KS2. These lessons will help to prepare your children for a future in an uncertain world. From climate change and fragile ecosystems, to ethical trade, finite resources and living fulfilled lives, our ESR curriculum is designed to help children prepare for the future. Teach your class about the many challenges the world is facing, give them the inspiration and passion to improve and preserve the future of our planet, and help them to live happy, healthier, kinder lives.

 

Do you have any EYFS resources?

No. We'd love to produce EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) resources, but we are a small team, currently working flat-out to produce KS1 and KS2 resources. Maybe one day…

 

How do I download the free resources?

  1. Add them to your basket, like any other product.
  2. Go to the checkout. You may be asked to sign in or create an account, including entering a billing address. This is required, but don't worry, you will not be charged for any free resources in your basket.
  3. Complete the checkout. If you only have free resources in your basket, you will not be asked to provide payment information.
  4. Download your free resources straight away! There's a link on the final checkout page, in the order confirmation email, and in your PlanBee account. You can re-download free resources from your account page at any time.

 

I need help placing an order...

Do I need to open an account to place an order?

Yes. All of your orders will be added to your account area. You can download them from here whenever you need them at no extra cost. If you don't have one, open a PlanBee account for free.

I want to find a scheme that covers a particular curriculum objective, is this possible?

Yes it is! Simply click this link or browse by curriculum objective in the mega menu.

 

How do I add a product to my basket?

Use the search function to locate the product you wish to purchase, then click the large orange 'Add to cart' button.

 

How do I checkout my order?

Click the orange 'checkout' button in your basket. You should be guided through the checkout process on screen. If you continue to have problems let us know using the contact form or in the live chat.

 

I need help with a discount code or store credit

How do I redeem a discount code?

To redeem a discount code enter it in the 'Gift card or discount code' box during the checkout process.  

 

How do I use my BeeBucks (store credit)?

Bee Bucks are our store credit. To use your BeeBucks, click the dropdown menu that says 'Spend your Bee Bucks (credit) on this order' in your cart. You will find this above the large 'Checkout' button. From here, you can select to spend your Bee Bucks if you wish.

If your Bee Bucks total is larger than your purchase amount, the remaining Bee Bucks will stay in your account ready to use against another transaction.

 

I am not sure what type of account I need...

What is the difference between your account options?

We have two different types of account: general accounts and school trade accounts.

General accounts users pay for purchases during the checkout process.

School trade accounts users have the option to pay for purchases via invoice.

 

What are general accounts?

General accounts allow the user to pay for their purchases during the checkout process. General accounts are ideal for individual users like teachers and parents. Learn more about PlanBee for teachers here.

 

What are school trade accounts?

School trade accounts include a 'pay by invoice' option. School trade accounts can only be opened by schools and must be opened by someone responsible for paying invoices at the school, for example a bursar, business manager or head teacher. Learn more about our options for schools here.

 

I have a question about an order I have placed...

Where is my order?

As soon as you have taken your purchase through the checkout process they appear in the 'My Orders' section of your account area.

To find your purchase log into your account. Then click on 'My Account' in the top right of the screen to go your account area. Click on 'My Orders'.

Find the order you want to download and click the middle button 'Download files for order PB######.'

Click on the blue hyperlinked lesson title (first image below). The file should automatically download and be saved on your computer.

If the file doesn't automatically download you will be taken to a new screen. Click on the download arrow in the top right of the screen to start your file downloading (second image below).

If you experience any problems downloading your files please get in touch.

 

Why am I seeing a warning when I try to download my resources?

Some of our files are larger than the 25MB google is able to scan for viruses so you will see a warning message when you start to download one of these files. Our files are all stored securely, but if you have any worries about allowing the file to download get in touch and we can confirm the file size for you.

 

Can I get a refund for a resource I purchased in error?

Yes, if you have not yet downloaded the resource. For more information about refunds, see our Refund Policy.

 

Can I get a refund for a resource I have purchased twice?

Yes you can! Please get in touch!

 

Can I exchange a resource?

Yes, if you have not yet downloaded the resource please contact us. For more information about replacements, see our refund policy.

 

Will my order be posted to me?

No, we do not post resources to you. As soon as you have taken your purchase through the checkout process, your resources appear in the 'My Orders' section of your account area where they can be downloaded.

 

I don't have a printer, can I still use your resources?

Yes you can! If you don't have access to a printer have a look at this video to see how to annotate PDFs on a computer or tablet.

 

I am using a phone, iPad or tablet and can't view my resources, help!

Our resources are PDFs and most of them are saved in zipped files. You will need to have unzipping software and a PDF viewer installed to open and view our resources.

I have a problem with my order...

My resource isn't downloading, what can I do?

Firstly, refreshing the page, then try again. If you are still experiencing difficulties, please get in contact.

 

My resource isn't displaying properly, what's gone wrong?

There are a few reasons this can happen.

All our resources are downloadable PDFs. To access our resources you will need to have a PDF viewer installed on your device. Most computers and tablets have this software preinstalled. If yours doesn't you can download Adobe Reader for free.

If our resources normally open for you but you are having problems with one particular purchase, then they have probably corrupted while they downloaded. Just get in contact with us and we'll send you the resources again.

 

My resource isn't printing, what can I do?

All PlanBee resources are printable. First check all the usual things like your printer is switched on, connected to your computer and has paper and ink. If you are still unable to print a resource, please get in contact and we'll help you.

 

I think there is something missing from my download, what can I do?

Please let us know! All PlanBee resources are proofread, but occasionally, resources are left out of a lesson plan pack by mistake. We always supply missing resources as quickly as possible, often on the same day.

 

I have spotted a mistake in a resource, what do I do now?

Please let us know! All PlanBee resources are proofread, but occasionally, errors are missed. We correct errors as quickly as we are able to, often on the same day.

 

I have tried all of this and I still have a problem, what now?

Please let us know and we'll help you. You can do this via our contact us page or our live chat and we'll work out what is going on.

 

I don't think your website is working as it should...

What happened to memberships?

Memberships (apart from Platinum for schools) have ended.
