What is a Knowledge and Skills Document?

ALL PlanBee schemes of work come with FREE supporting documents detailing what the lessons cover. These can be found in the grey tabbed section beneath the product descriptions.

When applicable, PlanBee's Curriculum Packs also come with a knowledge and skills progression document. This document details the coverage of the schemes of work in the curriculum pack using I can statements. They are a clear way of seeing the progression of skills across a PlanBee curriculum pack.

Art Knowledge and Skills Progression

  • Use the 'I can' statements to see the progression of skills in the Art curriculum pack.

  • The statements are organised into four areas of skills: Drawing - Line, pattern and texture; Painting, printing and colour; Collage, sculpture and 3-D art, Responding to artwork and Using a sketchbook.

DT Knowledge and Skills

  • Use the 'I can' statements to see the DT progression of skills in our curriculum pack.

  • The statements are organised into the six DT strands: Cooking and Nutrition; Stable Structures; Programming and Electrical Systems; Mechanical Systems; Textiles and Inventions; and Achievements

Geography Knowledge and Skills
