This fun KS2 art project will have your class on the edge of their seats as they explore a variety of different types of chairs across different times and cultures as a starting point for their own chair-designing ideas. Your class will have the chance to produce some chair designs for some familiar characters and find out how to use different materials to create 3D effects. When they have all their good ideas in place, they can then design, make and evaluate their own model chairs using a range of materials for construction and decoration.
