In this fun Tudor Music lesson, your class will learn, sing and perform a Henry VIII song to the tune of Greensleeves and with lyrics that describe his marriages to his six wives.

The lesson starts by taking a look at what music and musical instruments were like in the Tudor period and look at Henry VIII as a musician himself. It then goes on to look at the original version of Greensleeves (which is thought to have been Henry VIII's song about Anne Boleyn) before learning a new version with original lyrics.
