FREE Sample Lesson: Coin Conundrum
Is your class ready to solve a coin conundrum? In this fun, engaging lesson, children will learn how to use their reasoning skills to solve puzzles involving money. In the main activity, they are challenged to work out where to put coins on a grid in order to make specific row, and column, totals. Or if you fancy something different, in the alternate activity, children calculate how many different possible combinations of coins there could be in a piggy bank which add up to a given total.
