Hinduism for KS1

Our KS1 Hinduism lessons introduce pupils to the basics of one of the world’s oldest religions in a simple and engaging way. Children will learn about key festivals such as Diwali and the Festival of Lights, and hear popular stories from Hinduism. Each lesson uses colourful images, interactive activities, and discussion prompts to help younger pupils connect with the material and develop curiosity about different cultures.

Hinduism for KS2

Our KS2 Hinduism resources build on earlier learning, offering a deeper look into Hindu beliefs, practices, and history. Pupils explore Hindus Home and Mandir. Lessons encourage critical thinking through enquiry-based activities, creative tasks, and cross-curricular links with subjects like history, art, and literacy. By the end of the unit, pupils have both factual knowledge and a deeper cultural appreciation.

With clear lesson plans, ready-to-use resources, and activities for every stage, our Hinduism teaching packs make it easy to bring this fascinating religion to life in the classroom.
