This Geography lesson teaches children which are the best places in the UK to find or see dinosaur remains. Children learn to name and locate the countries and capital cities of the UK. They also use maps to find out the names of the seas around the UK.

Children use maps to then mark on locations such as the Jurassic Coast and the Isle of Wight. They find out about six different places around the UK where either dinosaur bones have been found or are on display.
