This is a collection of resources focusing on Black History. These resources can be used during Black History Month, or at any time of the year! We have a pledge to decolonise the curriculum. Our aim is to provide opportunities to rethink and reframe the way we teach and learn world history. Many of the resources in this collection meet this goal.
Don't forget to view all our schemes of work that have been created, or updated, with decolonising the curriculum in mind.

Thank you for this great resource. The activities were varied and suited different styles of learners and abilities. I used it today in Year 5 and it was a success. Thanks again!
You're welcome, Lusine! We're so pleased to hear that this resource was useful for you :-)
This activity for Remembrance is brilliant. It has everything you need for making your own poppies and the young people can’t wait to show off their poppies they have made! 🤩
That is lovely to hear! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review :-)

Have now used this a second time, the children loved it across the whole year group. I have used this in both a year 4 and a year 5 class and works well...great way to introduce the subject of the Vikings.
We're so pleased to hear that your classes have enjoyed making their own Viking longboats! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Ella :-)
