The first lesson in this series tells the Easter story, from Jesus riding into Jerusalem through to his death and resurrection. Children will think about whether this is a happy or sad story before going on to retell it using words and pictures. There is also a tasty Easter activity too!

This lesson gets your class thinking about the Easter Bunny and what he has to do with Easter, before looking at the origins of the Easter Bunny and the tradition of giving eggs at Easter. They can then design their own Easter Bunny or help him out of a tricky spot by making more eggs for him to distribute!
