Your class will begin by reading and analysing Michael Rosen's 'Chocolate Cake' poem, before watching the poet perform it. They are then challenged to use what they have learnt to prepare their own performance of another of Michael Rosen's poems, 'Chocolate'. Children will then plan, write and perform their own chocolate-themed narrative poem.

This Chocolate Poetry KS2 lesson pack provides all the resources and knowledge you need to deliver these Year 4 poetry lessons, including detailed lesson plans, slideshows for each lesson's teaching input, differentiated activity ideas and a range of helpful and engaging printable teaching resources.

Great but please produce in GoogleSlides

I would really like this in GoogleSlides format as it downloads in PDF - great slides and differentiated resources but tricky to present.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Jess. We use PDFs for our resources to ensure that everyone can access them, no matter what version of software they have. We have sent you an email with further details on some free PDF readers and editors - we hope this helps! If we can assist you any further, you can contact us at info@planbee.com

Creative planning that made this week’s English exciting and meaningful. The children have all been engaged and motivated.
I’m now looking forward to seeing what they write and perform over the next few days.
