This lesson will have your class solving a mixture of addition and subtraction problems. After the teaching input, your class will access two of the four included activities. The activities have a mixture of addition and subtraction questions.

This final addition and subtraction lesson gets your children applying their knowledge of using objects to solve problems. They will be encouraged to use different methods to solve problems including using objects and drawing representations. Challenge your class to work out if the stock in the shop is increasing or decreasing, and to match question cards to their answers.
