Give your class the opportunity to become confident using and applying their knowledge of number facts. They will tackle a variety of addition and subtraction questions and be challenged to use what they know about numbers to help them find the answers. Over the course of the five lessons in this ‘Let’s Use Number Facts’ Complete Series, children use doubles, number bonds and landmark numbers to solve problems including missing number sentences.
With each lesson, there's a choice of activities including games, and individual/group activities, as well as a set of slides, a detailed lesson plan and a range of printable resources.
Doubles
Give children a chance to apply their knowledge of doubles to solve problems, by helping farmers work out how many animals they have.
