Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day resources for KS1 and KS2
To teach children about Remembrance Day, its traditions, symbols and events, we've produced a number of handy and informative resources. There are complete History and Art schemes of work with Remembrance Day presentations, worksheets and activities for learning all about the armistice at the end of World War 1 – as well as the art and poetry that was inspired by war and created by those who experienced it first hand. Many of these resources can be used alongside teachers' own planning too, and they are ideal for use in a variety of ways including in class or for a Remembrance Day assembly.
Don't forget to read our Remembrance Day activities blog for easy activity ideas.
