#TheCompleteSeries3lessons

Children will think about the difference between a kind and an unkind action and how this affects our moods and overall happiness. They then move on to put their ideas into action as they become secret friends for one another before finally discussing how their kind actions could be used in the wider community of their school and local area.

With lesson plans, slides for the teaching input, differentiated activities and a range of printable resources, this ‘Being Kind to You and Me’ scheme will encourage discussion within your class and encourage the children to become more aware of their actions and how they affect themselves and others.

#Lesson1AreYouaBucketFiller

In the first lesson of this KS1 Fulfilled Lives ESR scheme your class will focus on the story ‘Have You Filled a Bucket Today?’ to help them think about their actions and interactions with others around them. They will discuss the difference between kind and unkind actions and the effects that this might have on themselves as well as others. They are challenged to sort actions that would fill a bucket or dip into a bucket as well as actions that could be neither kind or unkind.

NB: You will need access to the storybook ‘Have You Filled a Bucket Today?’ By Carol McCloud for this lesson.
