This first lesson asks children to think about and discuss what they think makes our world special. The children will be shown amazing photographs from around the world as a catalyst for discussion. They will be encouraged to think about the content of each photo and what is special about it.

The Creation Story
Your children will be told the creation story according to Jews, Christians, and Muslims and will find out why this story is similar across the three religions. The children can then retell the story in a variety of ways during the activity section of the lesson.

The Hindu Creation Story
In this lesson, the children will learn about the Hindu creation story. They will find out who Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva are and what role they have in the story. By the end of the lesson, the children will have thought about what similarities and differences this story has with the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim creation story they explored in the previous lesson.

The Sky and Heaven
During this lesson, your class will describe the sky and think about what Heaven means to them. They will be shown a variety of images that are accompanied by different religions' descriptions of Heaven to support them. There is also the chance for children to consider what they think Heaven is like.

Plants
