Download this Tudor Portraits KS2 Art lesson to turn your Year 3/4 children into budding Holbeins! During the teaching input, your class will be introduced to Hans Holbein and other artists, and explore some of the most famous Tudor portraits of the royal family. As they go through the pictures on the included slideshow presentation, your children will consider what portraits say about the subject, as well as exploring the style and colours used by the artist.

During their independent learning activities, your class can then either complete a Tudor portrait from half a picture, or pose for their own Tudor-style portraits!
