Everything you need to know about School Trade account features and services.
PlanBee School Trade accounts enable education establishments to place orders immediately and then pay within 30 days via invoice: bank transfer or cheque.
Who can apply for a school trade account?
Bursars or business managers may apply for a school trade account. Basically, anyone in school sufficiently senior to authorise and process payments.
How to apply
Apply here. Note that you must apply using an official school email to which invoices can be sent. You will also be asked to provide:
- Your job title
- Your school's website address
- Your school's postal address and phone number
Once we've received your application, we do a few quick checks, and normally get your account set up within 48 hours, Monday-Friday.
How to access your school trade account
Once we've approved your application and set you up, you'll receive a welcome email. After that, you can browse and shop at planbee.com just like any other customer, but with one important exception:
You must use the separate, school trade checkout if you want to pay by invoice. Once logged in to your school trade account, the school trade checkout—visible on the cart page—is enabled:
If you wish to be invoiced, and pay by bank transfer or cheque, you must checkout via the School Trade Instant Checkout. Once checkout is complete, your order will be available immediately.
Alternatively, if you wish to pay for an order using credit/debit card or PayPal, you can do so by clicking on the regular checkout button below the school trade checkout.
How to pay for your order(s)
As soon as you order via the School Trade Instant Checkout you will be emailed an order confirmation with a link to download a PDF invoice for your order, which includes payment information. You can pay by bank transfer or cheque. Payment terms are 30 days. Please send any relevant remittance advice to accounts@planbee.com.
