Doubling Numbers
This Doubling Numbers lesson teaches your Year 3 class some helpful methods for doubling two-digit numbers. Using partitioning, your class will soon be doubling numbers up to one hundred.
The slideshow presentation for the whole-class input goes through plenty of examples for the class to try together. Your children can then apply what they have learnt during their independent activities by doubling sets of differentiated numbers. There is also the opportunity to play doubling bingo!

Double Trouble
This Double Trouble planning pack builds on the learning they did during the previous lesson about doubling two-digit numbers. During the teaching input, your Year 3 children will be challenged to double a variety of single-digit numbers as many times as they can before they get stuck!
