They will solve multi-step problems by identifying how much money a character has to spend, how much money they will have left after they buy a pair of shoes, how much change they are owed and finally which coins can be used to make their change. This lesson will encourage your class to develop their confidence and understanding of money-based problems.

In the final lesson of this series your class will solve multi-step problems within a real-life context.
