Tenths and Hundredths
The first lesson in this series helps your class identify the value of tenths and hundredths and shows them how to recognise these values both as a fraction and a decimal.
They will have opportunities to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, as well as practising identifying the value of any digit in numbers with up to two decimal places.

Dividing by 10 and 100
This lesson explores the effect of dividing one- and two-digit numbers by 10 and 100, building on their understanding of tenths and hundredths.
They will practise dividing a variety of numbers by 10 and 100 and expressing the answer as a fraction and a decimal.

Equivalent Fractions
This lesson starts by exploring the relationship between tenths and hundredths before moving on to explore other families of equivalent fractions.
They will explore which fractions are equivalent and learn to look at the patterns in equivalent fractions.

Analogue Time
Moving on from fractions, this lesson looks at analogue clocks and gives your class the chance to practise reading the time to the nearest minute.
They will firstly recap what we mean by 'half an hour', 'quarter of an hour', etc. before reading and writing the time for themselves.
There is also the option of solving some word problems relating to calculating intervals of time.

Digital Time
What is the difference between an analogue and a digital clock?
