Triangles

Area of a 2D Shape
During this lesson, your class will learn how to find the area of a 2D shape. First children will find the area of rectangles by counting squares, and then they will apply the same methods to find the areas of more complex compound shapes. As with all of the 'Properties of 2-D Shapes' lessons, there's a choice of two activities included, so you can choose one that best suits your learners!
