In this 'The Twits' lesson plan, your Year 4 children will first recap on the main features of instructional texts by playing a game entitled, 'Odd One Out'.

Children will then discuss the importance of these features before using this knowledge when planning their own set of instructions, based on a particular event from 'The Twits'.
