This first lesson focuses on nutrition fact labels on food packaging. Children will learn all about fats, carbohydrates and proteins and how they provide our bodies with energy, measured in calories. They will have the opportunity to analyse nutrition fact labels, read tables and interpret the information from them.

In this second lesson, children will explore different burger patties including the different cooking methods for them. The children will prepare, cook and taste three different burger patties, working in groups to prepare turkey, beef and vegetarian burger patties.
