They will also find out about the Caribbean climate, and the devastating consequences the hurricane season can have. Finally, children will look at the Caribbean as a tourist destination.

In their independent activities, children will take on the role of travel agent and advise holiday seekers where to visit depending on their preferences. In the alternative activity, children will explore the advantages and disadvantages of tourism for the Caribbean, culminating in a class debate using the motion, 'The negative impact of tourism in the Caribbean outweighs the positive impact it has.'
