The second lesson in this series gives your class the opportunity to become confident with applying number facts and using objects and pictures to prove their answers. Through hands-on activities your class will match, create, find and make all of the number bonds to ten. The alternative activity for this lesson challenges the children to create a number bond to ten poster to display in the classroom.

Are there different ways to make ten?
The third lesson in this series focuses on getting your class to find lots of different ways to make ten using weights and bead strings. The main activity encourages your class to use bead strings to solve missing number sentences and write number sentences to explain pictorial representations of number bonds. The alternative activity will have your class using weights to find ways to make ten using more than two numbers.
