#Lesson1HIsEarlyLifeandCareer

In this first lesson, children will learn who Neil Armstrong was. They will find out about where and when he was born, how his love of flying began, when he became an astronaut, and his first space mission on the Gemini. They will use this knowledge to ask and answer questions about him.

#Lesson2TheMissiontotheMoon

Children will learn about the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon in detail. They will discuss the events and give their own opinions. Children will then put themselves ‘into the shoes’ of Neil Armstrong and imagine what he was thinking and feeling in their independent work.

#Lesson3Gravity

In this lesson, children will be introduced to the force of gravity. They will relate this knowledge to the astronauts walking on the Moon, and conduct their own investigation to see how far they could jump on the Moon!
